These terms govern your purchase of a Tailsbook book. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Shipping policy, which form part of these terms.

What you're buying

A personalised keepsake book about your pet — a printed hardcover and/or a digital PDF edition, depending on the option you choose — created from the answers and photos you provide. Prices, currency, and any taxes or shipping are shown before you pay.

How your order is created

A contract forms when we confirm your payment. After ordering, you answer the story questions and upload your photos at your own pace; we then generate your book and show it to you in full. You read and approve every page before anything is printed, and one round of changes is included. Personalisation and printing begin only once you approve.

How your book is written

Each Tailsbook book is generated by AI from the details and photos you provide, and reviewed for quality before printing. The result is unique to your pet — it is not a template.

Your content and the rights you grant us

You keep ownership of the photos and stories you upload. You grant Tailsbook a licence to use that content solely to create, proof, print, and deliver your book. You confirm that you own or are entitled to use everything you upload, and that it is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may refuse or remove content that is unlawful or infringing.

Cancellations, refunds, and your statutory rights

Because the book is personalised, specific cancellation rules apply — these are set out in full in our Refunds & Shipping policy, including our voluntary Happiness Guarantee. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged, or not-as-described goods.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Tailsbook is operated by GT, a registered sole trader (individuali veikla) in Lithuania, EU. Registered address: Lithuania, EU. Contact: hello@tailsbook.com.
